Ghanaian dancer Endurance Grand steps onto Hollywood stage with ‘Children of Blood and Bone’

Endurance Grand

Ghanaian female dancer and choreographer Endurance Grand is taking her artistry to a much bigger stage with an appearance in the highly anticipated fantasy film, Children of Blood and Bone.

The Ghanaian dancer has emerged in newly released trailer materials for the film, giving local audiences another reason to watch closely as one of Hollywood’s biggest African-inspired productions prepares for its January 2027 release.

While the details of Endurance Grand’s involvement have not yet been made public, her appearance in the trailer is significant, particularly for Ghana’s growing community of dancers and movement artists seeking opportunities beyond the country’s borders.

Endurance’s presence in a major Hollywood production offers a glimpse of what is possible when Ghanaian movement, performance and creative talent travel beyond familiar territory.

And she is doing so in a film whose very identity is rooted in an African-inspired world.

Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, the filmmaker behind The Woman King, Children of Blood and Bone is based on Nigerian-American author Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling 2018 young adult fantasy novel of the same name.
