President John Dramani Mahama has formally inaugurated celebrated Ghanaian actress and public figure Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe as the country’s new Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain in a ceremony held at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The event on March 17, 2026 marked the official handover of responsibilities to Mrs Sinare Baffoe, who will represent Ghana’s interests in Madrid and work to deepen relations between the two nations across economic, cultural, and diplomatic spheres.
President Mahama, speaking at the ceremony, expressed strong faith in the ambassador’s capacity to carry out her duties with distinction, highlighting her high profile and broad experience.
