President John Dramani Mahama has called for a mutually beneficial partnership between Ghana and South Korea, highlighting the unique strengths both nations bring to the table.
Speaking during bilateral discussions with the South Korean president, Mahama stressed that cooperation between the two countries could unlock significant economic and technological opportunities.
“Ghana has the natural resources and human resources, and Korea has the technology and innovation,” he stated.
The talks focused on strengthening collaboration by combining Ghana’s natural and human resources with South Korea’s technological expertise and innovative capacity.
President Mahama also pointed to opportunities for technology transfer, skills training, and increased investment that could help accelerate Ghana’s industrial development.
“I believe that we can bring these two together in a win-win partnership,” he added.
Officials from both countries expressed optimism that the engagement will lead to concrete projects, deepen economic relations, and help position Ghana as a centre for innovation and industrial growth in West Africa.
