FC Barcelona produced a thrilling 3–0 victory over Atlético Madrid in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final at the Spotify Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
Under the guidance of Hansi Flick, Barça delivered a masterclass in attacking football. However, the emphatic win could not erase the damage from a crushing 4–0 first-leg defeat, as the Catalans bowed out 4–3 on aggregate.

Rising Stars Light Up the Camp Nou
Despite the heartbreak, the night highlighted Barcelona’s youthful brilliance and fearless ambition. Eighteen-year-old Marc Bernal stole the spotlight with a sensational brace, announcing himself on the big stage. Lamine Yamal was electric throughout, crafting the breakthrough in the 29th minute with a moment of pure quality. Just before halftime, Raphinha calmly converted a penalty to double the lead and restore belief among players and fans. For much of the match, the spirit of a famous remontada lingered as Barcelona pressed relentlessly for the goal that would have completed a miraculous comeback.
End of the Road in the Copa del Rey
The result ends Barcelona’s hopes of defending their Copa del Rey title and reaching a second consecutive final. Though elimination stings, the team received a standing ovation for their resilience and intensity.
Barcelona now turns its attention to maintaining its four-point lead in La Liga and preparing for a crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid advances to the final in Seville on April 18, where they will face either Real Sociedad or Athletic Bilbao.
