The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of its Premium Passport Application Centres in Accra and Kumasi, effective February 20, 2026.
In a press statement issued on Monday, February 23, the Ministry said the decision affects all applicants currently using the premium centres, including those with pending applications.
Affected clients are being advised to continue their passport processing at their respective Regional Passport Application Centres.
Applicants who need assistance during the transition can contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit on 0302-754-200.
The Ministry has assured the general public of its continued commitment to efficient and effective passport service delivery, despite the closure of the premium centres.
