As part of a continuing series of strategic meetings with important football stakeholders throughout the three Northern Regions, the GFA President is currently in Bolgatanga with his entourage. He hosted an interactive session with local football administrators and officials on Tuesday night, establishing a forum for discussion, criticism, and idea sharing with the goal of advancing football development.
President Simeon-Okraku’s people-centered leadership style, which prioritizes direct engagement with stakeholders at the local and regional levels to better understand issues and develop adaptable, workable policies, is reflected in the engagement.
In an effort to strengthen ties and expand cooperation that promote football development, youth empowerment, and community development, President Simeon-Okraku is also expected to meet with traditional leaders and high-ranking government officials on Wednesday as part of his Upper East tour.
The President’s tour of the Upper West Region, which included a stopover in Tumu, the municipal capital of the Sissala East Municipal Assembly, concluded successfully before the Upper East engagement.
He advanced his overarching goal of creating an inclusive, sustainable football ecosystem throughout the Northern Regions by meeting with Sissala East Municipal Football Association stakeholders and other important players during that visit.
