During the current winter transfer window, Ghanaian midfielder Musah Mohammed was acquired by Turkish Super Lig team Goztepe from second-tier club Bodrum.
The 24-year-old’s three-and-a-half-year stay at Bodrum has come to an end with the signing of a three-and-a-half-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year.
In addition to welcoming the Nkawkaw native and expressing confidence in his impact at the club, Goztepe confirmed the deal on Wednesday.
Although they were demoted the following season, Mohammed played a significant part in helping Bodrum earn promotion to the Turkish top flight after joining from Ankaraspor in 2022.
Since last summer, the Super Lig team had been keeping an eye on the midfield player, but at first, Bodrum was hesitant to let go of one of their most important players.
In his first Super Lig season in 2024–2025, Mohammed made 25 appearances and recorded four assists.
This season, he has continued to play a significant role, making 21 appearances in all competitions, contributing two assists and one goal before finalizing his transfer to Goztepe.
