RAAL La Louvière has confirmed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru on loan until the end of the season.
The Belgian club announced the arrival of the 28-year-old on its official platforms, making him their fourth acquisition of the winter transfer window. Club officials believe Ashimeru’s experience and technical quality will strengthen the squad as they push for a strong second half of the campaign.
Ashimeru joins from Anderlecht after a difficult start to the season, where limited playing time saw him largely sidelined from first-team action at Lotto Park. The move to RAAL La Louvière is expected to offer the midfielder a fresh start and the opportunity for regular football at the Easi Arena.
A product of the Red Bull football system, Ashimeru has previously featured in Switzerland and Austria before establishing himself in Belgium. Since joining Anderlecht in 2021, he has made 129 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.
The loan move is viewed as a chance for the 12-time Ghana international to rediscover his form, rebuild confidence, and regain match rhythm.
