ORC to Increase Fees for Company Registration and Related Services

Fees and charges for services provided by the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) are set to increase nationwide from Monday, February 2, 2026.

According to the Office, the adjustment is in line with the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which mandates public institutions to periodically review fees for services rendered.

The fee revision will affect the full range of services offered by the ORC, including company incorporation, business name registration and other related services across the country.

In a notice cited by Joy Business, the Office explained that the review is aimed at ensuring sustainable service delivery and enhancing customer experience at all Registrar offices nationwide.

Although the new rates were not disclosed in the notice, the Office indicated that detailed information on the revised fees and charges will be made available at all ORC offices and published on its official website ahead of the effective date.

The Office has therefore advised the public and service users to take note of the upcoming changes and make the necessary arrangements for transactions scheduled after the implementation date.

The fee increase forms part of a broader compliance effort by state institutions, departments and agencies to align with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, which was passed by Parliament.

Last week, the National Identification Authority announced an increase in fees for some of its services, citing the need to maintain and improve the quality of service delivery.
