KNUST School of Business Marks 20th Anniversary; Highlights Role of Business Education in Sustainable Development

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) School of Business (KSB) has officially launched its 20th-anniversary celebration, reflecting on two decades of excellence in business education and its role in sustainable development. Speaking as the keynote speaker, Mr. Patrick Kwasi Appiah addressed the gathering on the theme: The Role of Business Education in Driving Sustainable Development.

He outlined key contributions of business education, including the development of ethical leaders, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthening industry and financial systems. He emphasized the importance of trust-building among entrepreneurs and concluded, “The journey ahead is promising, and together, we can make an even greater impact over the next 20 years and beyond.”

Other distinguished industrialists, including Mr. Kwabenah Obeng Darkoh, Mr. William Musah, and Mrs. W. Apenteng, participated in a panel discussion on Navigating the Dynamic Business Environment. The event concluded with a book launch at the KNUST Block C, marking the beginning of a series of activities to celebrate KSB’s impact on business education and industry.
