Nyansapo Dialogue Series Inspires Freshers; Alumni Share Life Lessons at KNUST

The 2025 Nyansapo Dialogue Series, organized by the Advancement and Alumni Relations Office of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), provided a platform for fresh students to glean invaluable life lessons from distinguished alumni. This year’s edition of the Series reaffirmed the university’s dedication to bridging the gap between academia and real-world experiences, while fostering mentorship and networking within its community.

Renowned alumni, including Rt. Rev. Prof. Osei Safo-Kantanka, shared their professional journeys and personal struggles. Prof. Safo-Kantanka, reflecting on his challenging school days, urged students to embrace determination and take charge of their academic and personal growth.

“You need to make a personal effort in academic and personal growth,” he said, recounting how his self-driven experiments and research shaped his success. “Determination is what helped me survive during my school days.

Don’t be lazy or hide behind others.” The Nyansapo Dialogue Series has become a hallmark event for KNUST, creating an opportunity for students to connect with celebrated alumni who serve as sources of inspiration and guidance.

As freshers left the event motivated to take ownership of their academic journey, the Dialogue Series further strengthened its role as a cornerstone for mentorship and holistic development at KNUST.
