The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Company, Dr. Ben Asante, has been awarded the KNUST Alumni Service and Distinguished Alumni CEO of the Year at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) College of Engineering Alumni Excellence Awards & Fundraising Dinner held at Labadi Beach Resort, Accra. The inaugural awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of alumni and corporate partners, highlighting their contributions in leadership, engineering, and community service.
This event also aimed to support KNUST’s postgraduate programs, provide scholarships for outstanding students, and bolster teaching excellence at the university. KNUST’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, underscored the vital role of alumni contributions in advancing the College of Engineering’s mission.
She encouraged ongoing support, ensuring that these contributions would enhance KNUST’s impact within Ghana, Africa, and globally, positioning the college as a hub of academic excellence.
