KNUST Wins Great Debate; Triumphs Over African and US Universities

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has emerged victorious at the prestigious Great Debate, organized by Morehouse College in collaboration with Speech Forces. The event, which brought together top universities from across the globe, saw participation from institutions in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, the United States, as well as Ghanaian universities, including the University of Cape Coast (UCC), University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), and the University of Ghana.

Representing KNUST, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student, Prosper Ametu, and a fourth-year BA English student, Desmond Dorvlo, showcased their debating skills, ultimately leading their team to victory. The debate provided a platform for intellectual exchange and cross-cultural discussions on various global issues, further solidifying KNUST’s reputation for academic excellence and competitive prowess.
