The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Registrar’s Office has outlined several strategies to improve administrative processes and staff development, as revealed during the 2024 Registrar’s Office Workshop held at Maaha Beach Resort in the Western Region. KNUST Registrar, Andrews Kwasi Boateng, emphasized the pivotal role of the office in the university’s operations, noting that the office is often called upon to provide answers when issues arise.
He presented a 10-year strategic plan focused on enhancing governance, resource mobilization, and customer service. Mr. Boateng highlighted significant achievements, including the promotion and training of over 90 staff members and the establishment of deputy registrar roles.
He also noted efforts to digitize filing systems and improve the office’s visibility through social media and an Administrative Manual. The workshop underscored the need for continuous capacity building and strategic management to meet the university’s growing demands.
