Focus FM’s Clinton Yeboah Honored; Wins Outstanding Media Personality at KNUST VCSEA

A broadcast journalist at Focus FM and a final-year Media and Communications Studies student, Clinton Yeboah, has been named the outstanding media personality at the 2nd edition of the KNUST Vice Chancellor’s Students’ Excellence Awards (VCSEA). Yeboah won the silver prize, joining 52 other students recognized for excelling in academic and non-academic activities at KNUST.

The Vice Chancellor’s Students’ Excellence Awards celebrated Clinton Yeboah, the host of “Community Watch” and “Leadership Corner” at Focus FM (94.3) for his remarkable impact in the media field. The event, themed “Celebrating Achievements Beyond Boundaries: Recognising Students’ Excellence,” highlighted the diverse accomplishments of students in areas such as volunteerism, inventions, sports, innovations, and entrepreneurship.

Vice Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson lauded the awardees for their exemplary roles and inspired them to continue making positive impacts in their communities. Each awardee received a plaque in recognition of their achievements and potential as future leaders.
