Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) achieves world-class status. Speaking at the Chancellor’s Week celebration honoring his 25 years of leadership, he emphasized his dedication to the university’s growth and distinction globally.
He expressed gratitude to the university and teacher unions for their support. The Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, praised the Asantehene’s contributions and pledged to complete the university teaching hospital within Otumfuo’s Silver Jubilee.
The event was attended by chiefs, queen mothers, ministers, KNUST management, and students.
