The call for change echoed across the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) campus as the Movement for Change unveiled its university campus wing on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Spearheaded by spokesperson and youth leader, Duke Aaron Sasu, Esq., the inauguration marked a pivotal moment for the youth in shaping Ghana’s future.
Addressing the eager crowd, Sasu urged the youth to remain optimistic about Ghana’s future under a credible leader with extensive public and private sector experience coupled with unwavering integrity. He expressed gratitude to the hundreds of students present, emphasizing their belief in the Movement for Change and its founder, Alan Kyerematen.
Sasu highlighted the significance of youth involvement in effecting the desired change, stating, “This is how we all contribute to building this nation and moving it from poverty to prosperity.” Encouraging the newly formed “yellow army,” Sasu emphasized the importance of familiarizing themselves with Alan Kyerematen’s transformative plan, urging them to serve as exemplary ambassadors for the movement.
The Movement for Change has outlined plans to establish a robust presence across all tertiary campuses. A notice shared on its social media platforms indicates upcoming inaugurations at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and the University of Education, Winneba (UEW-Winneba) chapters on Wednesday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 30th, respectively.
