In a bid to empower and inspire young minds, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) successfully hosted the 17th edition of the 2024 Success Africa Summit. The summit, held at the College of Engineering Auditorium, marked a significant milestone in providing mentorship and digital skills training to hundreds of eager participants.

The mentorship program, sponsored primarily by MTN Ghana, aims to equip young individuals with essential digital skills while offering them the chance to connect with accomplished CEOs and directors. These mentors share their experiences, inspiring greatness and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth.

The Executive Director for LEG Group and an organizer of the Success Africa Summit, Albert Kusi, spoke with the media about the program’s objectives. He emphasized that Success Africa is designed to inspire and provoke greatness in young people, recognizing them as the future of Africa.

The annual tour, covering universities across the country, creates opportunities for networking and learning, encouraging participants to strive for excellence. Expressing gratitude to MTN Ghana for its pivotal sponsorship, Kusi highlighted the digital knowledge provided by MTN officials during the summit.

Additionally, MTN contributed various logistics aimed at transforming lives. The program, running for 16 years, has targeted 17 universities for the current year, with KNUST being the third institution reached.

MTN Territory Sales Controller and facilitator, Samuel Andoh, shared insights into the facilitation process. The focus was on MTN’s customer-friendly products, digital platforms, and services, with special attention given to identifying and avoiding fraud in the digital space.

Andoh cautioned the public against fraudulent activities, particularly highlighting awareness about MoMo fraud, reinforcing MTN’s commitment to customer safety.
