KNUST Basic School Set to Reopen Following Suspension of Senior Staff Association Strike

In the wake of the suspension of the industrial action by the Senior Staff Association-Universities of Ghana (SSA-UoG), the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Basic School is poised to resume academic activities on Monday, February 12, 2024. The school had been closed on January 30, 2024, in response to the ongoing strike.

The decision to reopen comes as a positive development following the cooperation and resolution reached with the SSA-UoG. All stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff, are encouraged to support the smooth resumption of academic work at KNUST Basic School.

The administration remains committed to providing a conducive and safe environment for learning.
