A worker at the French Consulate, Gabrielle Le Lasseux, shared insights into the efficiency of the student visa application process in France, describing it as the fastest. This revelation occurred during an education fair organized by Campus France at the Great Hall, KNUST, where students sought information about the French student visa application process.
The Campus France Study in France Education Fair, part of the 6th Ghana-France Higher Education and Research Conference, spanned from Monday, February 5, to Thursday, February 8. The fair presented enticing opportunities to students from various universities.
The event featured a French delegation comprising 12 higher education establishments, including business schools, engineering schools, and public universities. The Deputy Director of Campus France, Her Excellency Madame Béatrice KHAIAT, and the French Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU, were also present.
Following the exclusive morning session for officials on Thursday, February 8, the afternoon session, dedicated to the Education Fair, unfolded. The student fair aimed to acquaint Ghanaians with higher education opportunities in France and highlight the associated advantages, as outlined in a press release by Campus France.
Representatives from French schools, such as Sciences Po Paris, Université Catholique de l’Ouest, Centrale Supelec, CESI écoles d’ingénieurs, and others, set up stands to engage with visitors. They distributed brochures, addressed queries, and delivered presentations on their programs.
Alliance Française Kumasi and France Alumni also had stands to share information about French language learning and cultural activities. The fair concluded with student participants expressing satisfaction with the wealth of information received.
Campus France continues to provide assistance to students or individuals aspiring to study in France, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Ghana.
