Out of 20,181 teachers who took part in writing the 2023 Ghana teacher licensure examination (GTLE), 9,556 failed, which represents over 47% failure.
In a press statement on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the National Teaching Council (NTC) disclosed that out of the 20,181 teachers who sat for the exams, only 10,625 passed successfully.
“The National Teaching Council (NTC) is said to release the results of the 2023 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) 2 and 3 on Thursday, December 21st, 2023,” the statement informed.
“All candidates can check their results from the NTC portal at exam.ntc.gov.gh using either their pins given during registration or examination index numbers, it stated.
In the statement, candidates are advised to print out their provisional certificates after checking the results.
